Robert Teeling, Board of Directors President: Is a long time Alaskan resident. His family moved here in 1947. Robert built a Saw Mill and used it to saw the lumber for their family home. For many years he did road maintenance in the MatSu Borough. He also built some of the equipment for his business. In his private life he is the Head Deacon at Wasilla 7th Day Adventist Church.

Dirk Brodish, Board of Directors Treasure: Dirk was born in West Germany as a United States Air Force dependent. He lived and went to school in California, Florida, Pennsylvania and England. He graduated from high school in 1979 from Apollo High School in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1984 Dirk moved to Anchorage and opened the Garcia’s Restaurant on B Street. In 2000 to present, Dirk started his Clearway Snow Removal business. In 2010 he also started the Clearway Property Management business with six full time employees. Some of Dirks hobbies are mountain climbing, running and enjoying the Alaskan great outdoors. He has competed in over 20 mountain marathon races in Seward, Alaska. In his personal life he has been married for 25 years and raised 2 children.

Taggart Hooper, Board of Directors Secretary: Taggart was born in Kingsville, TX and returned to Alaska with his parents the fall of 1964. He was educated in Anchorage and graduated from Robert Service High in 1983. Taggart has worked for the Alaska Air National Guard for 22 years, as a crew chief on C-130 Hercules aircraft. While performing duties as a crew chief he has been deployed numerous times to different locations around the world to include South America, Europe, Asia and Africa for the United States Air Force. He also has owned two automotive repair shops and currently owns a property rental company. Taggart has been a director for Simonian Little League and a member of Rabbit Creek Lions Club, serving as President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer of the Lions Club. He has made Anchorage & the Valley his home for 46 years, and has raised his family here.

Chuck Kaucic, Board Member: Provides our organization with over 37 years of professional experience in public administration involving parks & recreation, project management, public works, planning, construction & natural resources.  Mr. Kaucic earned a BS degree from the Pennsylvania State University, & an MS degree from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md. With nearly 25 years of service, he recently retired from employment with the Matanuska Susitna Borough.  After a brief period, Chuck has engaged in a second career & is currently employed as an Environmental Planner with the Alaska Rural Water Association in Wasilla. His community volunteer experiences range from serving youth through adults in support of active & passive,  wholesome activities such as sports, athletics, scouting, 4-H, antique auto clubs & involvement in his Church. Chuck has lived in Palmer 29 years.
